Petrol heads planning on visiting the PistonHeads Performance Car show at Birmingham’s Autosport International event are awaiting a treat when it comes to Nissan horsepower.
The 2011 revised Nissan GT-R will be the first treat for visitors to see when visiting the show where they will get the opportunity to see the all new model which not only produces 612Nm of torque but also packs a 530PS punch allowing the sports car to reach 0-62mph in just 3.0 seconds. With this speed the GT-R is now one of the world’s fastest cars.
The new GT-R not only has more power but can be recognised by its new LED daytime running lights, new wheel design, improved air intakes, larger front brakes, revised interior and red engine cover. The GT-R is available with two choices of interior including the premium interior with an Alcantara and leather seat trim or the Recaro full leather black seats that feature red flashes, which both come at no extra cost.
At the show will also be the latest 370Z Roadster and Coupe which celebrate Nissans Z cars 40th year in the UK. With the original 240Z first driving into the UK in August 1971, the 370Z has improved massively now producing 328PS from its 3.7 litre V6 engine, which is a great deal more than the 240Z which had a 150PS powerplant. However the models have stayed very similar, still including its rear wheel drive layout, front engine and two seat driving experience.
